With greater public interest in property investment, Vincdesign created a novel branding design for Bluepin – a newly launched groundbreaking housing mobile application aiding investors to make investments globally despite district constraints. By providing property investment opportunities in multi-destination, Bluepin assists the ambition of investors to grow bigger and go wider.
Although applications that serve similar functions already exist on the market, the typical template using lists and boxes for property screening is not only dull but also not global-investor friendly. Bluepin recognizes such a limitation and replaces the repetitive display creatively and professionally with a map featuring the transport, environment, and facilities around the neighborhood, maximally supporting investors in completing their global property investments.
For the branding design, Vincdesign deliberately selected woodpecker as the core brand element in establishing the brand logo for Bluepin, as the responsibilities of a woodpecker and the goal and mission of Bluepin are highly alike. Similar to the aspirations of Bluepin, woodpecker, as the architect of animal habitats, constructs and creates sanctuaries for animals, directing them to a graceful environment for relaxation and leisure. With the spirituality of a woodpecker, the logo of Bluepin carries the connotations of being opportunistic and resourceful.
Inspired by the peck of a woodpecker, the tip of the logo was designed from its resemblance with a map pin, extending the application of the logo to be practically utilized for signaling available properties for sale on the map. Users can easily and flexibly pin the logo to the desired location for review. This simple and free procedure echoes Woodpecker’s effortless habitat construction and assures an unchallenging user experience on operating the mobile application. To highlight the brand familiarity, the letter ‘b’ was customized in the logo, making the brand name, Bluepin, more outstanding and memorable.
Purple and blue were chosen to be the color palette of Bluepin to portray its young and professional brand identity to potential investors. Purple conveys the sense of royalty and nobility, assuring users of Bluepin’s trustworthiness and reliability and the quality global property investment opportunities it presents. Blue was picked to not only align with the name, but to also deliver a young and energetic presentation. With the lively bubbly blue eye in the hollow of the letter ‘b’, it once again reminds users of the brand name, and conceptualizes the enthusiasm Bluepin has in undertaking its mission of searching, screening, and selecting quality housings for investors. Together with the brand colors purple and blue, a dynamic and credible brand image is established for Bluepin.
