VINCDESIGN once again collaborated with Farmacy as a Creative Consultant to build an indoor plantation system display in Tuen Mun Town Plaza. The peaceful environment created with the warmth of wood incorporates and normalises the concept of planting in the hustle and bustle of urban life, breaking the public’s impression of mundane plantations, and encouraging them to know more about the ‘Make Farm Mobile’ notion about high-density urban planting in the future.
A series of activities are also organised to promote the sustainable living style. For example, Lingnan University students and seniors of the LingnanU Elder Academy Programme led a guided tour as “Green Ambassadors” as part of the Lingnan Entrepreneurship Initiative (LEI) programme. In terms of dining experiences, tmtplaza cooperates with two catering merchants, Bamboo Thai and Beerliner, upon the concept of Farm to Table to deliver fresh vegetables from garden to plate. In terms of entertainment, tmtplaza has also organized several sustainable DIY workshops with different brands to enhance the public’s interest in sustainable living. From the indoor plantation system to the various diverse activities, Farmacy’s collaboration with Tuen Mun Town Plaza hopes to promote public awareness of environmental sustainability.
